As a College High School, we focus on the student academic progress and achievement. Our goal is to provide students with the opportunity to fulfil their potential in all aspects so that they can take their place in modern society.

Students work in an environment where they are challenged and have their expectations raised to achieve demanding targets. This is evidenced in our latest grade 12 results where our students have done exceptionally well. Such success is a result of the partnership between the College, the students and their parents. The teaching body strives to achieve academic excellence.

Mr. Johan Bellingan returns to Concord College after an absence of a few years. Mr. Bellingan started his career as a Math and Geography educator in Kempton Park. He was appointed as Head of Department in 1996 and went on to become Principal at Eden Schools in 2001 where he gained valuable experience in both GDE and IEB curriculums and assessments. He was then appointed as General Manager at the largest private education provider in South Africa where he headed Further education and Higher education. It was with his appointment as Director of operations that he realized that he had moved to far away from his passion, and is delighted to be involved in the lives and futures of high school learners again.

He completed studies towards HDE at Potchefstroom in 1991. Started Math and Geography teaching career in Kemton Park in 1992 and was appointed as HOD. Appointed Deputy Principal at Damelin-Eden Braamfontein(2001) and Executive Principal for Damelin-Eden Braamfontein and Damelin-Eden Randburg (2004). He was promoted to General Manager for Damelin Randburg Tertiary Campus(2008) and progressed to Project Director for Educor(2010). He then Pursued a career in regulatory matters with schools and FETs for accreditation with the DoE and Umalusi(2013) whilst heading a high school in Johannesburg.
